THERE IS NO CURRENT MOT OR ROAD TAX ON THE BIKE
I HAVE OWNED THE BIKE SINCE LATE 2007. THE BIKE WAS PUT IN TO STORAGE (IN PERFECT WORKING ORDER) JUST OVER A YEAR AGO, A COUPLE OFMONTHS AGO I DECIDED TO SELL THE BIKE. TO MY DISMAY THE BIKE WOULD NOT RUN AND THE CARBS ARE LEAKING. I HAVE HAD THE COIL PACKS, ECU, PLUGS, LEADS AND WIRING CHECKED AND THEY ALL ARE FUNCTIONING AS THEY SHOULD. ALL ELECTRICS ARE WORKING. THE ADVISE I WAS GIVEN BY A REPUTABLE LOCAL SUZUKI DEALERSHIP IS THAT THE MIKUNI CARBS ARE BLOCKED OR PARTIALLY BLOCKED , I HAVE DIS-ASSEMBLED CLEANED AND REASSEMBLED THE CARBS WITH ABSOLUTELY FINITE ATTENTION TO DETAIL BUT TO NO AVAIL! I ONCE AGAIN CONSULTED THE SUZUKI DEALER, TO BE TOLD THAT THEY NEED SENDING OFF FOR SONIC CLEANING BECAUSE THE FUEL WAYS ARE TOO FINE TO CLEAN MANUALLY (APPARENTLY COMMON KNOWLEDGE?), I HAVE SINCE FOUND OUT THAT THIS COSTS £300, I HAVE RUN OUT OF MONEY AND STEAM TO PUT THE BIKE BACK ON THE ROAD TO SELL HER, SO HERE SHE IS, HOPEFULLY YOU WILL HAVE A BIT OF TIME AND MONEY TO DEDICATE TO AN AMAZING BIKE. I HAVE PUT A BRAND NEW BATTERY ON THE BIKE AS THE OLD ONE DIDNT HOLD MUCH CHARGE, BUT ILL INCLUDE IT IN THE SALE AS IT MAY JUST BE MY DICKY CHARGER!
