On a performance 4 Stroke Engine your Oil Filter is one of the most important maintenance parts and needs to be changed regularly to ensure that any impurities are kept out of the important parts of your engine.
Your KTM Handbook advises that they are changed :-
If you are Racing - After each Race or every 3 hours use or after using 20 Litres of Fuel
For just pleasure use - After every 15 hours of use or after using 100 Litres of Fuel
KTM advise this must not be exceeded by more than 2 hours or 15 Litres of Fuel
WARNING - If you are not regularly changing these filters you are risking serious damage to your engine
